Far Futures
Far Futures
Far Futures represents a thought experiment: What would life be like a half-century after the last nuclear weapon has been decommissioned? What would become possible if we were to resolve this seemingly insoluble existential challenge? Horizon 2045 commissioned ten original works from writers and artists including Madeline Asbhy, Tochi Onyebuchi, Paul Miller, and Annalee Newitz.

Watershed Zine
Watershed Zine
A watershed is the ridge that determines which way water flows. We chose this name for our new zine because governance for security is at a similar tipping point: the frameworks built in this decade will shape what comes next. Watershed brings together people working in security, technology, and philanthropy to explore and test new ideas in public. Read our inaugural “Nuclear Futures” issue.
